The highest peak in Connecticut at 2,316 feet, located in Salisbury near the Massachusetts and New York borders. The 6.5-mile round trip via the Undermountain Trail is a serious hike, steep and challenging, but the summit views into three states are unmatched anywhere in CT. There's a stone monument at the top. Go on a clear day, bring water, and budget 4-5 hours. Part of the Appalachian Trail corridor.
