A stone tower on the summit of East Peak in Meriden at 1002 feet. Drive or hike up through Hubbard Park, then climb the tower for a 360-degree view that covers the Connecticut River valley all the way to Long Island Sound on a clear day. The park also has a working carousel, which is a weird bonus.
